Welcome to Good Calm Dog Training! We”re dedicated to helping you and your dog build a strong, positive relationship through effective, science-based training methods. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any services provided by Good Calm Dog Training, including in-person training, virtual consultations, or online resources, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  1. Services Provided

Good Calm Dog Training offers private dog training sessions, group classes, behavior consultations, and online training materials. These services are intended to improve dog behavior, strengthen the human-animal bond, and promote positive training techniques.

  1. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your dog’s history, behavior, and medical condition.
  • Follow training recommendations, including consistent practice outside of scheduled sessions.
  • Ensure your dog is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and free of contagious illnesses before attending in-person sessions.
  • Use humane training tools as recommended by Good Calm Dog Training.

Failure to adhere to these responsibilities may impact the effectiveness of training and could result in the termination of services.

  1. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds
  • Payment: Fees must be paid in full before services are rendered unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may result in a forfeited session or a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds: All sales are final. Refunds will not be issued once training sessions or consultations have begun. Exceptions may be made at Good Calm Dog Training’s discretion for extraordinary circumstances.
  1. Behavior and Liability
  • While Good Calm Dog Training uses safe and humane methods, we cannot guarantee specific training outcomes. Dog behavior is influenced by genetics, environment, and owner consistency.
  • You acknowledge that training involves some level of risk and agree to assume full responsibility for your dog’s behavior at all times.
  • You release Good Calm Dog Training and its trainers from any liability related to injuries, damages, or losses caused by your dog during training sessions or afterward.
  1. Safety Policy

For the safety of all participants:

  • Aggressive or reactive dogs may require private training before joining group sessions.
  • Dogs must remain on a leash unless instructed otherwise.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
  • Any dog that poses a safety risk may be asked to leave training sessions without a refund.
  1. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information shared with Good Calm Dog Training will only be used for scheduling, training, and communication purposes. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.

  1. Use of Photos & Videos

With your consent, Good Calm Dog Training may take photos or videos of training sessions for educational and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your images or videos used, please inform us in writing.

  1. Termination of Services

Good Calm Dog Training reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a client:

  • Fails to comply with these Terms.
  • Engages in abusive or disrespectful behavior toward trainers, other clients, or animals.
  • Uses inhumane training methods contrary to our philosophy.

No refunds will be provided if services are terminated due to a violation of these Terms.

  1. Governing Law
