Absolutely! I’m certified and have years of experience working with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. They are paw-sitively passionate about helping you and your furry friend.

Can you help with behavior problems?

We sure can! Whether it’s jumping up, excessive barking, or something else, our experienced trainers will work with you to understand the cause and create a tailored plan to improve the behavior. We’re all about creating harmony between you and your pup.

I'm a first-time dog owner and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Does Good Calm Dog Training offer beginner classes?

Absolutely! We have ‘BombPuppy Proof Puppy Power Play’ classes that are perfect for getting you and your furry friend (young or old) off to a great start. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through every step with lots of encouragement and tail wags!

At what age can I start training my puppy at Good Calm Dog Training?

You can start training your puppy with us as early as 8 weeks old! Early training helps in setting the foundations for good behaviour and social skills, ensuring a happy, well-adjusted dog.

What is your refund Policy?

I understand that once I have committed and actually attended a class there will be no refunds, cancellations, or I can re-assignment to another class if there is room.

What vaccinations are required for my puppy or dog to attend class?

To participate in our puppy classes, your puppy must have received its first set of vaccinations, including Parvo and Distemper. Adult dogs need to be up-to-date with their annual vaccinations.

What should I bring to class?

We recommend the below. If there is anything different for your particular Speciality class we will let you know. flat buckle collar approximately 4ft leash (no flexi-leads) 2 or 3 types of treats – one should be of high value for the first couple of classes

How many people can attend class?
A maximum of 4 people per dog are allowed to attend class.
What if my dog gets spayed or neutered. Can I make up the class?
No. I will send you the lesson sheet via email for you to work on for the next class.

My female dog came into heat; can we still attend?
Certainly! All dogs must be trained to handle distractions. If you bring a dog in heat to class, please ensure they wear a protective garment such as a doggie diaper or hot pants. Also, make sure to let your dog relieve itself before arriving and avoid doing so on the property.
Do you offer private and board & train?

We do offer private lessons.

Our classes are not suitable for addressing issues with aggressive, reactive, or

This course allows you to learn and practice at home, helping you develop the
skills needed to lead and train your dog at home.

We don’t offer board & train at the moment.

What if my dog is fearful, aggressive of reactive?

If your dog showing signs of aggression or reactivity? Signs such as lunging,
growling, and serious barking at other dogs or people could indicate aggressive
behaviors.

Our classes are not suitable for addressing issues with aggressive, reactive, or
overly fearful dogs. Instead, we recommend enrolling in our online

at home, helping you develop the skills needed to lead and train your dog
effectively. For dogs that exhibit severe aggression, fear, or reactivity, we advise
consulting a behaviourist who specializes in these behaviours, as our training
programs do not cover these specific needs
